Sotheby’s International Realty Canada

Victoria, BC

A third generation Victorian who has spent her life on the Island, Lisa’s abilities as an expert negotiator along with her incredible work ethic have gained her the respect of her peers and clients alike, and in the process made her a top agent for Sotheby’s International Realty Canada.

“My family background is in building and development, so after some travel and a stint at UVic, it seemed the natural direction to go,” she says. “I love the fact that every day is different - and I’ve met so many fascinating people over the years, many of whom are now friends.”

While her reputation is as a specialist in selling waterfront, luxury and unique properties in and around Victoria, Lisa represents buyers and sellers in all categories and price points, and learned at an early age how to excel in pressure-packed situations. As an accomplished equestrienne on the Hunter-Jumper circuit and a fierce competitor at high level competitions, she has won numerous championships and ‘Best Rider’ awards throughout North America.

“Riding has taught me the ability to focus under pressure, think fast and react according to changing situations. I’m definitely competitive, but at the same time the biggest reward I get is in helping to bring some really tough deals together.”

Unlike many agents that utilize a more ‘team-based’ approach, Lisa deals with her clients directly for all the important decisions, preferring to be more hands-on and accessible in an effort to provide consistency throughout the buying and selling process. “You have to be a great listener, think smarter, and work harder than anyone!”

“I really believe it makes a difference,” says Lisa. “I’m on track to be the first Realtor in Victoria to reach the Billion-dollar mark for overall sales transactions and my approach has a lot to do with that. I always make sure my clients are armed with every possible piece of information; they’re counting on my experience and expertise and I take that very seriously.”

As she prepares for the launch of a new website, and a very busy fall market, Lisa continues to be a proud and long-time supporter of the BC Cancer Agency as well as an enthusiastic participant in mentoring and leadership groups.

“With the event of COVID this year, and the challenges and changes that we’ve seen as a result, it is pretty amazing to see how many people are wanting to make the move to Victoria; a city that offers beauty, nature, open spaces and safety - and a lifestyle second to none. We are so lucky to live in this beautiful city, and in’s to gratitude!”
